Understanding how our "AutoSurvey" tool works, which will help you structure the entire questionnaire into questions and answers.

ÍNDICE

What is it?

Our "autotag" tool is used to structure entire questionnaires on our platform to avoid wasting valuable time copying and pasting questions and answers. Once the "autotagging" process is complete, you simply need to add the logic and conditions to your questionnaire – programming is much faster with this tool.

How to use it?

After uploading the survey file in .docx or .txt format, you will be taken to the Document Editor page. Here, the structure of the survey will be determined: the questions, answer options, and sub-questions (in the case of matrix/table question types).

The "autotag" button will pre-structure the questionnaire automatically, and after that, you can edit the document to ensure that your questions are correctly identified.

In the example below, you can see that "P3" is a question text <q>, but it was recognized as an answer text <a>. To adjust it, you need to place the cursor on the text line and click on the eraser button or press "shift + Q".

Then, you can re-label it as a question <q> by clicking on the question button or pressing "shift + 1".

A sub-question is mainly used in a matrix-type question, where the response text is usually transformed into a column, and the sub-question refers to a row of the matrix table. In the example below, the marks are the sub-questions, and the columns are the answer options.

Here is an example of a matrix-type question seen in the Document Editor:

Dividing question blocks

To facilitate the creation of logic or profiles in your questionnaire, you can also divide it into blocks or groups of questions. To do this, simply place the cursor at the point of division of the questionnaire and click on the "Group" button.
